Do you want to join our team and write for the Hindi Cinema Blog?

We are on the lookout for new writers and fresh opinions on Hindi cinema targeted at an enthusiastic and demanding audience in India and throughout the world. Do contact us if you wish to be a part of this team of multinational film/music buffs! We would love to hear from you. You may send us a pitch by clicking on the 'Contact Me' link at the bottom right hand side of this page. Your pitch may either be a brief article on Hindi cinema / soundtrack music or a translation of Hindi lyrics into English.

In your pitch, please be sure to also include the following:

Please mention if you wish to contribute as a writer or a translator (or both - in this case please provide examples of both types of texts written by you).

Tell us about yourself and your experience of Hindi cinema or music (which actors', musicians'  or directors' work do you follow, etc).

Tell us about your experience writing/translating (provide any Internet links to your texts if available, not compulsory)

State whether you would be willing to have your work translated into other languages and have it featured in our foreign language sections (Italian and Spanish). All writers are of course credited for their work regardless of which section it appears in.

The Hindi Cinema Blog exists through the voluntary work of its team members and we are therefore unable to pay for articles. However, we offer a unique opportunity for writers and translators to gain exposure to an international audience. We look forward to hearing from you. :-)
